As a child, I would watch the boys play football from my window, never daring to ask if I could join—afraid of rejection more than anything. I stayed on the sidelines, watching and waiting. Today, I choose not to wait for someone to call me in. Instead, I go out, play whatever game I want, and create my own team if I need to. This artwork reflects that journey—from silent observer to active participant—and reminds me that I no longer have to watch from the window; I can step onto the field of life and art on my own terms
