When you spend years trying not to be a bother, you start talking quieter. Walking through life like you’re not supposed to leave the trace. Like the only way people will like you is if you’re easy and if you take up as little room as possible.That’s what this drawing is getting at. A woman up on her toes, trying not to leave a mark. The hard part was never learning how to take up space. It’s unlearning the idea that you weren’t allowed to in the first place.
